PokerReads changelog

Recent app releases, written for players instead of commit logs. Newest updates are listed first.

Version 1.0.29

The honesty release: reads, numbers, and coaching you can trust

  • The read engine now speaks pure table language. Internal grading vocabulary can never reach a saved read, actor attribution is checked deterministically against your source hands, and other players from your notes can never leak into the wrong read.
  • Hourly rates earned a floor: no $/hr, BB/hr, or hourly comparison renders until a sample has at least 3 sessions and 5 hours. Thin samples say "Hourly building" instead of pretending noise is a rate.
  • Stop-loss got honest. What-if caps are labeled as retrospective what-ifs, never as money you "would have saved," and the coach now suggests a transparent starting guardrail (2x your buy-in) instead of a cap curve-fit to your history.
  • The bankroll dashboard was rebuilt where it was noisy: a readable Current Month / Last Month grid, per-metric win/loss colors in the stakes table, and an export-and-review panel that is actually reachable from More tools.
  • Table scanner and deep links got a hardening pass: the receipt hero survives hydration, the table map never double-counts you, and tournament prefills can no longer bleed into cash drafts.
  • The Poker Journal is now a first-class tab: date-chip entry, mood tags, attach-any-session, and reflections that quote your own words back against your real results.
  • Session review, weekly review, and every money surface follow one rule: if the app can't support a claim from your own data, it says so instead of guessing.
Version 1.0.16

Weekly Review, faster first read, share scout links

  • Weekly Review: your week in poker, every Sunday. Sessions, hours, net, hourly, biggest swing, most-played venue + game, biggest leak, best game, worst account drift, plus a recommended next-week session plan grounded in your saved history.
  • See it before you sign up: the demo route shows a synthetic scouting report without requiring an account. "Start with my own data" enters guest mode and routes to Add Hand so guests can save a first hand without a signup wall.
  • 3-screen onboarding: embedded demo first, simplified one-input import second (auto-detects WhatsApp / Telegram / hand history / generic notes), bankroll setup third.
  • Save a first hand for a new opponent → land directly on the player view, synthesis already streaming. The "Hand Saved ✓ / View Player" alert is gone for first-hand-for-opponent saves; the read is now the natural next screen instead of one tap away.
  • Share-a-Read scout links: share any saved read with a friend. After signup, both accounts get 30 days free Pro. Anti-abuse: 10-token rate limit, 7-day expiry, 50-view cap, 365-day total cap, atomic claim-and-grant via Postgres RPC, redaction pipeline scrubs third-party names.
  • ClubWPT Gold + Pokerrrr2 import: multi-image screenshot stitching (up to 6 shots) plus a "your read" prompt so saved hands carry both visual evidence and your in-the-moment intuition for later study.
  • Pre-session read prewarm: when you import the expected lineup, reads for every opponent you've previously scouted refresh in the background so they're already loaded next time you open the app to study.
  • Settings → Contact Support upgraded: emails go out with your account stamp in the subject + a prefilled diagnostics body so support replies don't need a separate "what's your account?" round-trip.
  • Telegram chat-paste import fix: pasting a Telegram chat now routes to the Telegram parser instead of the generic Document parser, so first-time imports from Telegram don't silently land in the wrong flow.
  • Synthesis quality is measured, not asserted: prompt changes run through private deterministic evaluation before release. Funnel telemetry records the signup, first-hand, and first-read milestones so onboarding failures can be investigated.
Version 1.0.15

Bankroll Operating Brief: the poker operating system

  • Bankroll Operating Brief: one readiness score (0-100), one weak-link summary, and your next three bankroll moves before you sit. Five metrics: true bankroll, main-stake cover, ruin risk, account trust, monthly pace. One-tap into session review and protected discipline logging.
  • Account trust score (0-100): how clean your bankroll picture actually is. Drift, stale balances, unassigned ledger rows, and account-level patterns all feed a single trust score with three bands.
  • Bankroll review speaks from the Operating Brief: review context now sees the exact same readiness score, account trust, metrics, and "next three moves" you do. No more generic risk-of-ruin formulas.
  • Deterministic bankroll patterns: concentration, drift, stale check-ins, unassigned rows, cashflow churn, expense drag, reconciliation cadence. The top three flow into every bankroll review as ground truth.
  • Stop-loss and mood check-ins: log pressure points, tilt words, and guardrail breaches so the session review can show where discipline slipped.
Version 1.0.14

Bankroll Accounts + Online Table Scanner + smarter chat import

  • Bankroll Accounts: track your roll where it lives (live cash, casino cage, ACR, ClubGG, Pokerrr2 clubs, staking pool, bank reserve). Per-account balances, drift detection, and stale-balance warnings.
  • Online Table Scanner: Pokerrr2, ClubGG, and ACR. Point your phone at the screen, get instant per-opponent reads + exploit lines.
  • Multi-Source Chat Import is smarter: game type (NLHE / PLO / PLO5) is now classified from the conversation itself instead of defaulting to PLO.
  • Account-aware bankroll review: bankroll guidance now uses per-account context instead of generic risk-of-ruin formulas.
  • Live-session reminders, bankroll intelligence (venue / game / mood patterns), synthesis reliability, auth hardening across 20 edge functions.
Version 1.0.12

Week One Plan + cleaner group scope + import fixes

  • Home now shows a Week One Plan: 3 concrete reps before your next session.
  • My Reads vs Group chips make active scope explicit on Home.
  • WhatsApp / Telegram / Google Docs imports now detect duplicate sources.
  • Fixed player-name extraction leaking position shorthand (UTG, MP, CO).
